This is no place for a thread on football balders. What were you thinking?

Probably only 7 or 8. Used to do a fair few aways but work always got in the way in the long run.

Re: Consecutive West Ham games you have attend on the trot
I don't think mine would be that long although I have done a number of away games just never consecutively. One season my old man only missed one game. That was his best run since following.

I did do the whole run for the FA Cup in 2006 and the League Cup rounds until the exit in BirMINGham.

Did the lot (not quite but almost) in 02/03 & 03/04

Old Trafford, The Bridge, Anfield 1st season. Wallsall, Rotherham, Bradford second time around

Can honestly say I enjoyed the 2nd more. The Cunt brigade and day trippers were nowhere to be seen

44 for me. Missed the first game of the 2004/05 season (Leicester away) and didn't miss another one until Burnley away in April. Only two games I missed all season.

Couldn't do that again

Re: Consecutive West Ham games you have attend on the trot
i had a record going of about 6/7 seasons (league games) and it ended at stamford bridge where i was nicked before game for nothing, taken to sheperds bush nick and then at about 5 o clock released, they said it was a new law that meant they could take people out of a situation if they so wished. fuck knows how many games that is or was

the saddest thing is the record i set now for games missed ;-(

Danny66 has a pretty decent record.

Why he's up there as one of my favourite West Ham supporters.

Joe - did you do Plymouth away that season? Thought it was only me and Tooting that went down there.

Re: Consecutive West Ham games you have attend on the trot
Did Home and Away in 91/92 which was 55 games as we had a good run in the cups - we got to 5th round of the FA Cup and had a replay in every round. We also got to the semi-final of the Full Members cup, although I have absolutely no recollection of going to Southampton away for that

Last away game was at Coventry. We got relegated that day.

I did a fair few the seasons either side as well including pre-season friendlies. I reckon it must be at least 60, probably more like 70, but definitely more than 55 !

Haven't missed a home game since Bolton in May 2002. Missed about 10 aways since promotion 2005.

Most games in a season was 50/51 in the recent Championship season. Didn't bother with Hull.

Re: Consecutive West Ham games you have attend on the trot
Somewhere over 60. Did a complete season in the championship, when we made a play off final, plus games from the previous and subsequent seasons.

I've never considered it like that before, so don't know the number.

Re: Consecutive West Ham games you have attend on the trot
Home and away I didn't miss a single game between 1993 and 2002 and loads of them travelled with Bob the Cap and Keith, who I'm sure a lot on here know/knew.

Would have been 1990 to 2002, but I had to miss Bristol Rovers at home (2-2 draw) in the inter-toto cup, as it was my uncle and cousins funeral.

Miss loads of other funerals for the hammers, but couldn't do that one.

The game then simply became too expensive and gay.

Never made three on the trot but without doubt the best two were in May 2006 when Yossi was brilliant in the home win against Spurs and then the next week was the Cup Final in Cardiff.

Re: Consecutive West Ham games you have attend on the trot
Haven't missed a home game since about 1992. So about 550 home games in a row.

Have missed 4 home games in total since 1975
That's about 971 out of 975.
